Meet Your SLP

Hi! My name is Sierra, I am from Canton, Ohio. I have a Masters from Ohio University for Speech Language Pathology, and hold a Bachelors from Akron University in Early Childhood Education. I have experience working with children in homes, preschools, daycares, and private clinics from 1 year to 21 years of age for exceptionalities or neurodivergent (i.e Speech Sound delay/disorder, Expressive/Receptive Language delay/disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Dysfluency (stutter), feeding, and Apraxia. Working with little ones, and kiddos always bring me joy. I love the nursery rhymes, pretend play, and all the toys!

I have worked with older adults in settings that consist of private clinics and skilled nursing homes with (i.e. Dementia, Aphasia, short term memory, executive function deficits, problem solving deficits, Receptive/Expressive language deficits, visual spatial/visual scanning deficits, AAC, and Dysphagia).

I will always have open communication about what I feel comfortable treating. I want the best therapy practices for every family/individual.

When I am not treating, I love to spend time with friends and family, go to dog parks with my Alaskan Malamute named George, travel to new places to experience the food/coffee, cook, bake, hike, fish, and watch movies.

I look forward to being your new Speech Language Pathologist!
