Our Services

Teletherapy

Therapy sessions held for 30 minutes using an online platform from the comfort of your preferred location. Clinician recommends a place free of distractions for this chosen service with a strong internet connection. Therapy sessions for 60 minutes are offered if applicable for the individual.

Homes Services

Therapy sessions for those who do not prefer teletherapy or home services. These services can range from 30-60 minutes in a public location.

Everyday locations

Preschool/Daycare- Library- Park

Therapy sessions with clinician in a natural & comfortable environment (i.e. private residence, grandparents home). Sessions can range from 30-60 minutes based on preference and individual needs.

Servicing areas: Stark county, Tallmadge, Mogadore, Wadsworth, Akron, Barberton

Every session is individualized to the client using Evidence-Based Practice.

Children sessions 2-18 yrs of age: include but not limited to

Low tech/high tech AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), movement based play (i.e. jumping, dancing, running), sensory play (i.e. water, sand, Play-Doh, slime), board/card games, various therapy toys (i.e. farm, farm animals pretend food), books and music.

Adults sessions 18+ include but not limited to:

Low tech/high tech AAC cards (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), calendar training, daily log training, memory/executive functions/ expressive/receptive exercises with use of IPAD apps, worksheets, or cards “based on preference.” Sessions related to swallow deficits include oral-motor exercises, and compensatory strategies for swallowing.
